ARY News reported that security agencies stopped a major terrorist attack in Karachi by recovering more than two tonnes of explosives and arresting a suicide bomber, preventing planned attacks on public places across the city. In a separate case, the Sindh Counter Terrorism Department said it broke up a RAW-linked network and arrested four suspects who confessed that they were linked to the Indian spy agency and were planning more attacks in Karachi.
A suspect arrested over the murder of a woman and her three children in Karachi’s Mai Kolachi area has confessed during interrogation, police said, claiming he killed the family after alleging the woman used taweez (amulets) against him. The bodies, recovered from a manhole, showed signs of torture; the children included a 10-year-old boy, a boy aged around 13–14, and a girl believed to be 14–15 years old, doctors confirmed.
Police in Lahore booked Qawwali singer Faraz Khan after he performed a song, “Qaidi No. 804”, linked to jailed Imran Khan at a government-sponsored cultural event at Shalimar Gardens. Authorities said the performance politicised a non-political event and posed a risk of unrest, leading to legal action against the singer.
Germany is short of nurses, creating new job opportunities for qualified Pakistani nurses with recognised degrees or diplomas. To apply, nurses must get their qualifications approved by German authorities and show German language skills, usually at B2 level.

These three countries are on Trump’s hit-list because of a wider drug network that he is targeting and saying supply drugs to the US. He also said that the US was in charge of Venezuela and that a second operation was possible in the country. Opposition figures said President Nicolás Maduro’s removal (Venezuelan president taken to New York), was “important but not enough,” and Maduro’s son vowed his father would return. Venezuela’s acting president reportedly held his first cabinet meeting. Meanwhile, oil prices slipped despite the turmoil.
